Delete your DUBA account
DUBA is provided by NAS GLOBAL LIMITED (“NAS”), the developer of the DUBA app and website. This page explains how to ask us to delete your DUBA account or some of your data, what we delete, and what we are required to keep.
Delete your account
Choose either way. Both delete the same data.
Option 1: in the app or on the website
- Sign in to DUBA. Opening the settings page requires you to sign in.
- Go to Account, then Security, or open /account/security directly.
- In the danger zone, choose Delete account and confirm. We ask for an extra confirmation because this cannot be undone.
Option 2: by email
- Write to support@nas.cards from the email address registered on your DUBA account.
- Use the subject Delete my account.
- We may ask you to confirm it is you before we act. We reply and complete the deletion within 30 days.
Delete some of your data without deleting your account
You can ask us to delete some or all of your data and keep your account open.
- Write to support@nas.cards from the email address registered on your DUBA account.
- Use the subject Delete some of my data.
- Tell us which data you want deleted, for example your saved addresses or your marketing preferences, or say “all data that can be deleted”.
- We confirm it is you, delete what you asked for unless the law requires us to keep it, and tell you what we kept and why, within 30 days.
Some features need some data. If you ask us to delete data that DUBA needs to run your account, we tell you what will stop working before we delete it.
What we delete
When your account is deleted we delete or irreversibly anonymise:
- your profile: name, email address, phone number, address and preferences;
- your cards, which are closed so they can no longer be used;
- your sessions and signed-in devices;
- your passkeys and other sign-in credentials;
- your selfie and liveness data, and any marketing data we hold.
What we keep, and for how long
We do not delete everything. As a card product we are required by anti-money-laundering and financial record-keeping law to keep some records:
- identity verification records (KYC and AML checks);
- transaction records;
- the account data these records relate to.
We keep these for five (5) years after our relationship with you ends, or for longer where the law requires. They are kept in encrypted and restricted form and are used only to meet those legal obligations. When the period ends, they are deleted.
